This week continuing our new series of messages based on the books of the “minor prophets” and today we’re focusing on Amos. The series is called Finding Jesus in the Rubble. Essentially, each week we’ll be looking at various minor prophets and looking at how, even in the midst of doom and gloom predictions and struggle, there was a message of hope and many signs that pointed to salvation and the arrival of the Messiah in Jesus Christ.
Amos can point us to some pretty interesting parallels in our society today, and how we’re falling down when it comes to pursuing God’s righteousness and justice (Amos 5:24).
